Rejection from Laurels

What is Laurels?
I believe it is an honor society which deals with community work and volunteering. It's also somewhat like a sisterhood where only the talented and active people can be in. That would be not me since I'm not really active or outgoing like I previous stated in my various posts on this blog. lol. I'm really shy to the point that I get so nervous just from speaking.

Anyways... just recently... like a week ago. I received my rejection letter from them in my Govt AP class. It was truly horrifying to be rejected in front of my AP Govt class than be rejected. It was so horrible that I hate Laurels for doing that. I wish they gave me my rejection letter another way than by handling it to me in front of class. Well... I can't do anything about it so whatever now. I finally gotten over the embarrassment.

I bet you guys are wondering what I am doing posting my rejection. Well..I'm basically ranting. lol. I am disappointed that I didn't get in, but I already anticipated that I would not make it in due to my lack of communication and also my lack of participation in clubs and events. Since i can't change the result I might as well rant about my failures.

This is an example of America's belief that everyone has equality of opportunity but not equality of result. Guess what? I fulfill that requirement. lol.
